Room size disappointing for the price!!! Noise from Main Street unbearable for a good night's sleep!!! Consider finding quieter and more spacious options within the Inn!!!

The Governors Inn offers a perfect escape with its lovely ambiance. We enjoyed the packed lunch in a wicker basket during our fall colors tour. Each breakfast was incredible, especially the egg souffle that took longer to prepare but was well worth the wait. The large windows in the breakfast area provided a beautiful view of the pine trees. Jim and Cathy, the innkeepers, made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality. The afternoon tea at 4 pm was a delightful touch, serving freshly brewed tea and pastries. However, our room, Dorothy's Room, was disappointingly small and noisy due to its location facing Main Street. The noise made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Despite the charming decor and nice touches like a fridge filled with drinks, the space and noise level could use improvement.

The breakfast was incredible both mornings, a delightful start to our days.
The room was on the smaller side, which made it a bit cramped for our stay.

The cozy Abigail room offered a delightful retreat with its charming decor and a perfect size for two. Each breakfast was a culinary highlight, featuring a delicious mix of savory and sweet mini courses that left us exceptionally satisfied. The only downside was the noise from the Main Street, which made for a less restful night's sleep.
